JOB DESCRIPTION:


Performs desk review of applications and assessment visits to client Social Welfare and Development Agencies (SWDAs) and/or Service Providers (SPs). Provide technical assistance to Standards Bureau’s counterparts, client SWDAs and SPs; and do other related work.


Functions and Responsibilities:


1. Conducts desks review of application documents and on-site assessment on the applications for registration and licensing of social welfare and development agencies (SWDAs) in more than one region;

2. Conduct assessment visit on the Accreditation of social welfare programs and services of Registered and Licensed SWDAs;

3. Conduct assessment visit on the Accreditation of Social Workers Managing Court Cases and Senior Citizens Centers;

4. Assess/review applications for SEC endorsements of non-Government organizations with social welfare activities, national fund drives and duty-free entry of foreign donated goods;

5. Prepare and submit assessment reports on registration, licensing and accreditation of Social Welfare Development Agencies, Service providers and social welfare programs and services;

6. Act on the requests and queries from Field Offices (FOs), OBSUs, various agencies and organizations relative to registration, licensing and accreditation and other regulatory concerns;

7. Provide technical assistance to walk in/phone in applicants along registration, licensing , accreditation and other regulatory services;

8. Guide, assist and monitor the SWDAs compliance to existing DSWD policies/guidelines; and

9. Performs other related tasks as may be assigned.

1. Assessment Reports;

2. Accomplishment Reports; and

3. Certificate of Registration/Licensing/Accreditation/Authority to conduct National Fund Raising Campaign.
