JOB DESCRIPTION 

Under immediate supervision of the Division Chief, the position provides support to tasks related to common IT equipment (e.g. computer units, printers, etc), data generation and other IT related technical assistance as requested by users/clients.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Ensures that all computers being used in the division have complete installations of required software (e.g. anti-virus, MS Office, etc.)

2. Ensures that basic IT equipment problems (e.g unable to print, no network access, etc.) are resolved at the soonest possible time.

3. Ensures that users/clients observe proper care and maintenance of IT equipment assigned to them.

4. Ensures that users/clients adhere to the guidelines in the usage of ICT equipment set by the Department.

5. Ensures that approved data requests to the division are provided based on the specifications of the requesting party.

6. Assists in ensuring IT related Compliance Verification Processes are completed within the timeline.

7. Performs other tasks assigned by the National Program Director/Manager or Division Head.

Job Outputs:

1. Complete installation of required software.

2. Basic IT troubleshooting.

3. IT Equipment monitoring

4. Generated Data for reports and data requests

5. Other output assigned by the National Program Director/Manager or Division Head.
