JOB DESCRIPTION 

Under general supervision of the Division Chief, the position is in charge of establishing, managing, developing partnership with Civil Society Organizations, Local, Regional and National Government Agencies through conceptualizing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating partnership activities and agreements.  Handles data management, develops policies ensuring strategic and responsive partnership based on gaps and needs. Provides technical assistance to Field Office counterparts, reviews and analyzes regional partnership reports; prepares presentations and reports on partnership related activities/tasks ensuring partnership management staff work is completed and does related work.

Functions and Responsibilities: 

1. Crafts and updates strategic workplan for the assigned focus area;

2. Prepares communications, write-ups, articles, executive summary, updates, reports, briefers and other partnership related documents for cascading to field offices, other units within the department and external parties;

3. Develops and submits activity proposals related to the IPD Work and Financial Plan;

4. Monitors and coordinates with Field Office counterparts issues/concerns and ensures timely submission of reports and other requirements;

5. Reviews and analyzes regional data and prepares summary report with recommendations for policy development and enhanced program implementation;

6. Serves as Technical Secretariat for functional partnership platforms and other inter-agency convergence.

7. Prepares data, presentation materials, and other documents needed during meetings and consultations;

8. Recommends agenda items for inter-agency, advisory council and partnership related meetings based on assessment and analysis of relevant references and result of coordination;

8. Documents activity proceedings;

9. Monitors follow-through actions and agreements with timely feedbacking;

10. Ensures that the technical support needs of partnership activities are met, particularly completed technical staff work;

11. Monitors issues and concerns of projects and specific partnerships ensuring that history and monitoring are complete and accurate;

12. Communicates and coordinates with internal and external units, offices and stakeholders on issues/ concerns for coordination and action;

13. Manages database on programs and services, directory of stakeholders/ partners;

14. Represents the division in meetings, workshops, conferences and other activities when applicable;

15. Performs other tasks assigned by the Division Head.
