PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

1.     Experience in government service an advantage;

2.     Very good oral and written ability;

3.     Remarkable attention to detail, results-oriented, can efficiently work under pressure;

4.     Strong interpersonal skills, good moral character and work ethics;

5.     Working knowledge of MS Office and other computer applications.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Legal Service (LS) Director:

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.     Represents the Department head in courts, administrative bodies, conferences and other related offices;

2.  Assume the leadership of the Division as Officer-in-Charge whenever the Division Chief is out of the office;

3.     Guides and advises the head of office and relevant Department officials on pertinent legal matters;

4.     Prepares legal opinions on pertinent legal documents;

5.     Provides legal counselling to officials, personnel and clients; and

6.     Does other related duties and responsibilities.
