Education        : Bachelor's Degree in Social Work

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education        : Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work
Experience       : Two (2) years of relevant experience in any of the following:
• Research Â
• Policy/standards development Â
• Conduct and management of training, orientations and consultations Â
• Program management Â
• Networking with NGOs, LGUs, NGAs and other stakeholders  Â
• Exposed to social welfare residential-based and common! -based pr ram implementation
Training            : Eight (8) hours of relevant trainings in any of the following areas:
• Research  Â
• Technical writing  Â
• Policy/standards development  Â
• Conduct of trainings, orientations and consultations   Â
• Relevant laws and policies on various sectors   Â
• Program management
Eligibility           : RA 1080 (Registered Social Worker)
Functions and Responsibilities:
1.    Provides comments/inputs to proposed bills and draft guidelines;
2.    Prepares concept paper related to standards development;
3.    Conducts data gathering and research as inputs to the standards being developed;
4.    Assists in the preparation of project proposals for the conduct of various standards development activities;
5.    Assists in the drafting of standards/ guidelines / tools;
6.    Assists in the conduct of orientation, consultation and roll-out;
7.    Assists in the pre-testing and pilot-testing of tools;
8.    Assists in the monitoring of the implementation of standards developed;
9.    Prepares technical reports to include monthly, quarterly, semestral and annual accomplishment reports;
10. Attends inter-agency meetings to provide inputs/share knowledge pertaining to DSWD's mandates and guidelines and/or articulate the Department's position on certain issues;
11. Acts as focal person on special events/activities hosted by the Standards Bureau;
12. Serves as a focal person to Committees where the Bureau is a member;
13. Participates in ISO Quality Management system activities of the Bureau; and
14. Performs other related tasks as may be assigned. Â
