Job Description

 We wish to inform you that the DSWD-National Capital Region is inviting applicants for the vacant positions with details as follows: 

 

A.      Position                                        :               One (1)  Social Welfare Officer II

Place of Assignment                :               Standards Unit- Field Office

Salary Grade                               :               15

Compensation                           :               Php 24,887.00

 

B.  Minimum Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

                                                                                                                                                                                               

Education            :               Bachelor’s degree in Social Work

Training               :               Four (4) hours of relevant training

Experience           :               One (1) year of relevant experience

Eligibility             :               RA 1080 (Social Worker)

 

 

 

 

Primary Functions:

               

v  Provide comment on the drafted national standards on registration, licensing and accreditation of SWDAs and service providers

v  Conduct assessment and recommend issuance of corresponding certificates for the registration and licensing of SWDAs as well as conduct pre-accreditation assessment of SWAs programs and services and service providers.

v  Conduct monitoring/ pre-accreditation assessment and provide technical assistance to the LGU run facilities, DSWD Centers and Institution and SWDAs along implementation and compliance to standards;

v  Provide technical assistance and monitor the implementation by the RLAs and service providers granted authority to conduct both local and national fund drives;

v  Conduct orientation on approved guidelines/ standards/ tools to LGUs and SWDAs

v  Conduct monitoring visit and enforce regulatory policies to unregistered/ unlicensed SWDAs

·         Certificate of trainings/seminars attended

·         Certificate of Employment

·         Valid PRC Report of Rating and License (if applicable)

·         Civil Service Certificate of Eligibility (if applicable)

 

Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (January to December 2014):    

 

Request for extension of submission will not be entertained.  Applicants who failed to submit the complete requirements are considered disqualified. In view of the volume of applications received by the Department only qualified applicants shall be notified for examinations.
