 We wish to inform you that the DSWD-National Capital Region is inviting applicants for the vacant positions with details as follows: 

 

A.    Position                             :           Three (3)  Social Welfare Officer III

Place of Assignment        :           Reception & Study Center for Children

                                                      Community-Based Services Unit

                                                      Elsie Gaches Village

Salary Grade                    :           18

B.  Minimum Qualification Standards (Per CSC MC 1, s. 1997)

                                                                                                                                               

Education                   :           Bachelor’s degree in Social Work

Training                      :           Eight (8) hours of relevant training

Experience                  :           Two (2) years of relevant experience

Eligibility                     :           RA 1080 (Social Worker)

 

C.   Job Additional Requirements/ Additional Competencies:

                                   

Training                      :           Eight (8) hours of training in counseling, case interviewing

and facilitation skills

Experience                  :           Two (2) years in handling case management

            Competencies             :           Case Counseling; Case Management; Networking and

Linkages; Records Management;

 

 

 

                                                                       

Primary Functions:

 

v   Executes and implement policies and programs and renders administrative decisions on matters within the limits of delegated authority

v  Established and maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationship with other entities and agencies both public and private in promoting social welfare.

v  Supervises institutions social workers in the performance of their duties, assign workloads to ensure equitable and proper distribution of personnel.

v  Provides assistance and support to the head of the institutions.

v  Responsible in carrying out welfare program within area coverage

v  Performs other related tasks

Internal staff should submit performance evaluation from immediate supervisor and performance rating which is at least very satisfactory for the last rating period (January to December 2014 or July to December 2013):
