DSWD Field Office XII has vacant position under Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS) Program

 

 

Municipal Monitor (1)

 

Salary Grade: 18

 

Qualifications (Competency-based)

 

Qualifications:                      

1.      Graduate of any social science-related course, accounting, or engineering, preferably at the masteral level;

2.      With at least seven (7) years of progressive experience in community driven development work, three years of which should be in Foreign Assisted Projects (FAPs).

3.      At least 40 hrs. of relevant training.

4.      Possess strong understanding of effective local governance principles and practices, and demonstrated capabilities to formulate and execute strategies that promote participation, transparency, and social accountability in local development planning and implementation of development projects to address poverty.

5.      Have an excellent grasp of national and region-specific poverty conditions, current anti-poverty initiatives and different approaches to poverty reduction.

6.      Possess strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated capacity to undertake capability building activities using different approaches, including mentoring, coaching, demonstration, and others.

7.      Possess strong writing skills, and oral communication skills in English and Filipino ad in the local language where he/she will be deployed.

8.      Demonstrated capacity to work independently, with minimal supervision.

9.      Highly literate in MS Office applications.
