JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Planning Officer II shall be responsible in assisting the Planning Officer III in ensuring that the Bureau’s Strategic Contributions are in conformance with and will further contribute to the Department’s achievement of its Organizational Outcomes.

Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in Strategic Planning activities of the agency as necessary in behalf of the permanent focal, and assist the DRMB divisions in identifying the Bureau’s commitments based on developing and existing programs, activities and projects;

  2. Assist in the facilitation of Performance Governance System (PGS) related activities, and prepare necessary documents;.

  3. Participate in consultation meetings for vetting and approval of CO-OBS Must Indicators and Harmonized Field Office Indicators and Rating Guide;

  4. Assist in the preparation of the Annual Budget Proposal of the Bureau together with the Finance Management Section;

  5. Provide inputs in the development of new or enhance existing monitoring and evaluation tools;

  6. Review, analyze, Coordinate and Consolidate the reportorial requirements for onward submission to Policy Development and Planning Bureau (PDPB), NDRRMC and other National Government Agencies (NGAs); and

  7. Other tasks that may be assigned.

Job Outputs:

  1. DRMB’s outcome and output indicators (new and/or enhanced), Strategic Initiatives and Commitments on Strategic Contributions;

  2. After-activity report for DRMB Monthly Operations Review with SCIP Monitoring Matrix and Scoreboards, feedback report for participated PGS activities;

  3. Enhanced HPMES, and other internal M&E tools;

  4. Reportorial Requirements.
