JOB DESCRIPTION

Oversees, plans, directs and supervises the division in the provision of technical assistance, monitoring and evaluation to devolved and retained workers, LGUs, NGOs, and POs in the implementation of social welfare and development programs and services; recommends training programs, strategies/approaches for more effective implementation and does other related work. Conduct coaching and mentoring sessions between and among staff, as needed.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Oversees the efficient and effective implementation of Sectoral Programs through the program focal persons of the division;

2. Provides technical assistance, coaching and mentoring to program staff to ensure responsive monitoring of programs being handled;

3. Represents the Department or bureau in inter-agency and inter-office meetings, committee meetings, conferences and social welfare related activities as may be delegated;

4. Acts as resource person on various sectoral topics; and

5.  Performs other related tasks as maybe assigned. 

Job Outputs:

1. Division accomplishment report;

2. Consolidated feedback report of the Division highlighting the action needed from the Management and Bureau level;

3. Feedback report on meetings and other related activities attended

4. Correspondence/memo to concerned staff, as needed;

5. Inputted/initialed memo drafted by concerned staff; and

6. Related documents, as needed.

9.Performance Rating in the last rating period or its equivalent, if applicable.
