Bachelor’s degree in International Studies, Development Communication, Public Administration, Economics, Statistics, Sociology or Social Work–or other related and allied courses

Training

:

At least eight (8) hours of training on planning, budgeting, data management, project management, data analysis and utilization, monitoring evaluation, and/or technical writing

Experience

:

At least with one (1) year of experience on project planning and monitoring

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the general supervision of immediate supervisor and with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgment, in performs functions in the formulation, monitoring and integration of social welfare and development (SWD) reports, plans and policies of the Department; and does other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.Prepares and assists in the review and monitoring of the Work and Financial Plan of the Bureau;

2.Monitors compliance of the divisions on their respective key result areas along with the Office Performance Contract;

3.Prepares periodic and special reports;

4.Prepares project proposals, meeting documents and other technical papers for the conduct of workshops, forum and other related activities;

5.Provides technical assistance on budget management to Bureau staff;

6.Organizes, and/or participate in inter-unit/inter-regional/inter-agency bodies on SWD activities or in the provision of technical secretariat support; and

7.Attends to inter-office and intra-office bodies within the Department as assigned by the supervisor.

9.Performance Rating in the last rating period or its equivalent, if applicable.
