PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCY-BASED)

Education

:

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science courses (Political Science, Sociology, Psychology and etc.), Public Administration, Development Communication and BS Social Work

Training

:

Twenty-four (24) hours of training on any of the following: program management, policy development, research, child rights, relevant law

Experience

:

Four (4) years of experience in project development, research, social work practice, legislative work

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Development Officer III acts as research project facilitator and assistant through the development of research design and research instruments.  He/she conducts the data gathering via series of activities and presents findings. He/she consolidate the research report.

 

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.Draft JJWC policies and propose program designs as technical support to the council in the implementation of RA9344 as amended;

2.Propose and assist in the implementation of research activities of the council;

3.Provide technical assistance on areas of policy formulation, research development, program development and planning;

4.Facilitate planning of agency physical targets, thrusts and priorities; and

5.Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Division Chief, Deputy Executive Director and Executive Director.

5.Photocopy of Certificate of Eligibility/Rating/License;

6.Certificate of relevant training, learning and development intervention and seminars attended;

7.Copy of duly signed Individual Performance Contract Rating (IPCR)/Summary of Rating of Performance Contract Assessment in the present position, if applicable;

8.Photocopy of Transcript of Records.
