  1. SOCIAL WELFARE ASSISTANT (SWA)

Place of Assignment          :          Regional Rehabilitation Center for the Youth (RRCY-Argao, Cebu) and Home for Girls - Labangon, Cebu City

CSC Minimum Qualification Standards:


Education    :       Completion of two years studies in college

Training         :       4 hours of relevant training

Preferred Qualification Standards:

 

Education    :       Bachelor’s degree in Social Work

Training         :       4 hours of relevant training       

Experience :       At least 1 year relevant experience in Psychosocial 

Interventions

Eligibility     :       RA 1080 (Registered Social Worker)


JOB DESCRIPTION


  • Conducts interviews to clienteles; 

  • Conducts case conferences;

  • Provides psychosocial interventions such a counseling, family therapy, critical incidence, stress debriefing and family conferences; 

  • Prepares project proposals, social case study reports, assessment reports;

  • Refers clients to concerned LGUs, NGOs, and POs for further intervention and assistance; 

  • Assists social worker in her work load and management of cases; 

  • Monitors projects per beneficiaries; 

  • Coordinates with LGUs, NGOs, POs and Gas; 

  • Performs clerical functions;
