PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCY-BASED)

1.Experience in government service an advantage;

2.Very good oral and written ability;

3.Remarkable attention to detail, results-oriented, can efficiently work under pressure;

4.Strong interpersonal skills, good moral character and work ethics; and

5.Working knowledge of MS Office and other computer applications. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Legal Service (LS) Director and pertinent Legal Service Division Chief.

Functions and Responsibilities

1.Represents the Department head in courts, administrative bodies, conferences and other related offices;

2.Guides and advises the head of office and relevant Department officials on pertinent legal matters;

3.Prepares legal opinions on pertinent legal documents;

4.Provides legal counselling to officials, personnel and clients; and

5.Does other related duties and responsibilities.

Initial Shortlisting:

Obtain 75% or 45 points of the maximum total score of Education, Training and Experience (ETE)

Top five (5) highest rating but overall rating should not be less than 80%

9.Performance Rating in the last rating period or any of its equivalent, if applicable.
