Job Description:

Under general supervision, the Project Development Officer II (PDO II) provides technical assistance and administrative support to project focal; assists in developing project materials; submits recommendations and proposals on programs  integration and implementation; monitors the Agency’s and Division’s Work and Financial Plan (WFP) vis-a-vis fund utilization and accomplishments; does the budget and procurement plans of the Division; and performs other related tasks or directives. 

 

Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Assists in the preparation of materials and literatures on the different programs/projects of the Division; 

  2. Facilitates the administrative and liaison tasks of the Division such as performance of Unit Document Control Officer (UDCO) functions; 

  3. Establishes and maintains linkages with member agencies and other external partners through consultation, meetings and other means of communication;

  4. Coordinates the task, targets and deliverables of the Division to other offices, divisions and units within the agency; 

  5. Monitors the Agency’s Work and Financial Plan (WFP) vis-a-vis fund utilization and accomplishment;

  6. Monitors the fund utilization of the Division including liquidation reports and other financial transactions and coordinates the same to appropriate unit in the agency;

  7. Prepares the Division’s annual procurement plan, project procurement management plan and other related plans; 

  8. Prepares the Division’s and agency’s accomplishment reports including the forms or reports to be submitted to oversight agencies;

  9. Identifies and recommends actions for a more effective implementation of projects/programs and attainment of Division’s target and mandates;

  10. Establishes data bank of Division projects to be accomplished by the project focal for updates and status; 

  11. Performs other assignments that may be required from time to time.
