PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCY-BASED)

-Experience in government service an advantage;

-Very good oral and written ability;

-Remarkable attention to detail, results-oriented, can efficiently work under pressure;

-Strong interpersonal skills, good moral character and work ethics; and

-Working knowledge of MS Office and other computer applications. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under the direction of the Legal Service (LS) Director and pertinent Legal Service Division Chief.

Functions and Responsibilities

-Represents the Department head in courts, administrative bodies, conferences and other related offices;

-Guides and advises the head of office and relevant Department officials on pertinent legal matters;

-Prepares legal opinions on pertinent legal documents;

-Provides legal counselling to officials, personnel and clients; and

-Does other related duties and responsibilities.

 Initial Shortlisting:

Obtain 75% or 45 points of the total score of Education, Training and Experience (ETE) 

Second Shortlisting:

Top five (5) highest rating but overall rating should not be less than 80%

8. Valid NBI/Police Clearance or proof of payment i.e. official receipt of the NBI clearance;

9. Authenticated copy of Civil Service Eligibility and/or Valid PRC ID /proof of payment or schedule of appointment for the PRC renewal license; and

10. Performance Rating (IPCR) in the last rating period or any of its equivalent, if applicable.
