ASSISTANT BOOKKEEPER

Compensation

:

Php 21,470.93


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCY-BASED)

Education

:

Bachelor's degree preferably in Accounting, Finance and Business Management, or any other related courses

Training

:

Eight (8) hours of relevant training on office administration

Experience

:

At least two (2) years of experience on office administration and secretarial work




Additional Competency:


1. With knowledge on bookkeeping, handling of financial transactions and reports;

2. Average knowledge on computer skills, and use of MS Office, Google Suite, and Peachtree System;

3. With good organization and office administration skills;

4. Possesses critical thinking with high levels or written and oral communication;

5. With a background in records management.









JOB DESCRIPTION

The Assistant Bookkeeper shall solely be working under DSWD MBAI. She will provide administrative support in all transactions of the association, as well as its Board of Trustees.








Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Monitor transactions of Field Offices 1, 2, CAR, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and CARAGA 

2. Record and track transactions of members from Field Offices 1, 2, CAR, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and CARAGA of the association;

3. Attend to inquiries of the Association’s members - physical, through telephone or email;

4. Provide clerical, administrative, and secretariat support to the Association and its BOT;

5. Assist in the processing of financial transactions of the Association;

6. Conducting banking activities;

7. Updating of Association’s members’ records database from FOs 1, 2, CAR, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and CARAGA;

8. Generation of various administrative and financial reports;

9. Reconciling reports to third-party records such as bank statements;

10. Notify the supervisor of any accounting errors; and

11. Perform other tasks as assigned.










Job Outputs:

1. Daily transactions records;

2. Administrative and Financial Reports;

3. Updated record of contribution and payment of loans in database;

4. Other reports and documentations as needed
