Education

:

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics

Training

:

At least forty (40) hours of training in use of statistics programs, or other applications of statistics, data management, and monitoring and evaluation; training on social development, planning and project management an advantage

Experience

:

At least three (3) years of experience in data analytics/management, planning, monitoring and evaluation, and project management. Experience with working in a government setting preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs functions in the development, assessment, monitoring, and integration of SWD plans and reports for Department sectors, programs, and offices. Provides technical assistance, monitors and evaluates DSWD OBSUs, Field Offices, LGUs, NGOs and POs in the implementation of social protection and social welfare and development policies and plans. Process and analyze data for effective planning, policy and plan implementation monitoring and evaluation; performs other related tasks as assigned by the Division Chief.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.Field Offices, intermediaries and stakeholders in the formulation and development of social protection and social welfare and development plans, the DSWDs short, medium, long term, operational and sectoral plans, policies, reporting, statistics and data management;

2.Monitors the implementation of social protection and social welfare and development plans and prepare/submit periodic reports;

3.Reviews, validates, and analyzes processed data/field reports on DSWD plans and accomplishments from the OBSUs and Field Offices;

4.Packages and organizes the processed data/reports into Department/Sectoral reports, compendiums, statistical bulletins, and statistical summaries for ready reference of users;

5.Draft instruments/tools appropriate for measuring performance indicators and index

6.Collect, verify, consolidate and organize data gathered from the projects/programs undertaken

7.Evaluate results and analyze data/statistics and survey

8.Conducts statistical/graphical analysis, interpretation, and report development

9.Organizes and/or participates in inter-agency/-unit bodies on SWD activities in the provision of technical secretariat support

10.Prepares Activity/Project Proposals and Terms of Reference

11.Acts as resource person to trainings and seminars

12.Undertake official travel as authorized

13.Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time

2.Compendium of DSWD and other SWD related statistics;

3.Statistical Bulletins;

4.Statistical performance indicators and index;

5.Statistical/graphical analysis, interpretation, and reports;

6.Project/Activity Proposals and Terms of Reference for Consultants;

7.Communications, i.e., letter-replies, transmittals, endorsements/referrals, acknowledgements, follow-ups, memoranda;

8.Feedback reports;

9.Highlights/Minutes of Meetings; and

10.Other periodic and special reports as may be required on the division mandates.

Initial Shortlisting:

Obtain 75% or 45 points of the total score of Education, Training and Experience (ETE);
