Education

Graduate of Bachelor’s degree preferably in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Behavioral Science, Human Resource Management and Development, Public Administration and other relevant social sciences courses

Training

:

At least four (4) hours of those relating to the duties and responsibilities (e.g. general HR, employee welfare, employee support, etc.)

Experience

:

At last six (6) months of those relating to the duties and responsibilities (e.g. gen. HR, on employee welfare, employee support, etc.)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision of the section Head, Division Chief and Service Director, with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgement, performs somewhat difficult responsible professional work in the key result areas of HRWD particularly for employee support services.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.Acts as a lead focal/technical person on the implementation of the programs/activities under the DSWD Mental Health program pursuant to AO5, s.2021;

2.Provides mental health & psychosocial support services and assistance (e.g. AICS/mental health specialist/facility) to employees in difficult situations/personnel-needing-support;

3.Writes comprehensive concept papers and/or other technical documents (e.g. project proposals) relating to the Mental Health program, Care for Caregivers, etc.;

4.Review proposals/letters form service providers and assess these for the conduct activities under the wellness program (e.g. wellness week activities);

5.Mobilize DSWD employees and staff during events/programs/activities held within and outside the Department. (as the need arises);

6.Maintains databases and the employee support module under the HRMIS;

7.Reviews, revises the existing and/or writes new guidelines to serve and guide DSWD employees and staff on the program/s being implemented by the section;

8.Prepares feedback report, updates, minutes of the meeting, memoranda and other office communications or special reports for DSWD employees, as assigned;

9.Undertakes complete staff work and provides evaluation, technical inputs/recommendations on received documents in accordance to existing rules, policies and parameters set by the agency;

10.Able to assist in the implementation/administration of HRWD programs and services, (i.e., Rewards and Recognition, Employee) as needed; and

11.Performs other related tasks in the unit that may be assigned from time-to-time.
