At least one (1) year of relevant experience involving human resource management particularly along employee welfare and rewards and recognition

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision and with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgement, performs somewhat difficult responsible professional work requiring training, moderate experience and a broad knowledge of employee welfare and rewards and recognition.


Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Act as the Primary Focal Person for the Rewards and Recognition program and mechanisms of the Department who provide alignment with the strategic direction in achieving PRIME-HRM accreditation i.e. policy enhancements, development of reward, recognition and incentive strategies, integration of human resource systems, benchmarking and adoption of best practices, among others;

2. Develop and monitor policies and mechanisms on Rewards and Recognition that seeks to recognize, award and motivate personnel with exemplary performance, outstanding accomplishments and exemplary behavior;

3. Promote a culture of recognition in the Department among DSWD officials and personnel;

4. Serve as Secretariat for the PRAISE National Committee:

-Review all prepared correspondences, supporting documents and references for the information of the Committee members;

-Document the meetings and/or other activities of the Committee to highlight the major agreements, resolutions and/or forward actions that must be undertaken;

-Provide technical inputs and assist the Committee on matters affecting rewards and recognition;

-Monitor agreements and commitments of the body;

-Organizes the annual PRAISE Awards Rites; and

-Coordinates with the Regional PRAISE Focal Persons as may be necessary.


5. Maintains rewards and recognition module under the HRMIS;

6. Coordinate with the CSC, other government agencies, and external award-giving bodies for nominations of DSWD officials, employees and groups and for matters pertaining to Rewards and Recognition; and

7. Perform other related tasks in the division, as may be assigned.

2. Nomination Guidelines and Reports;

3. Minutes of Meeting/ Summary of Agreements;

4. Special Orders;

5. Committee Resolutions; and

6. Memoranda/ Letters and other correspondences.

Initial Shortlisting:
