JOB DESCRIPTION


Under the direction of the Chief, Personnel Administration Division (PAD) and the Section Head, and with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgment, performs somewhat difficult responsible professional work requiring training, considerable experience and knowledge along personnel administration.


Functions and Responsibilities:


1. Acts as Payroll Officer for officials and employees to facilitate payroll, individual vouchers, remittance list, OBR, Findes, Bank Payroll Register (BPR), payslip preparation and related tasks thereto;

2. Administers GSIS remittance;

3. Prepares reports, letters, memoranda, other forms of communications, and guidelines;

4. Updates/monitors compensation and benefits related to database/systems;

5. Coordinates with other agencies concerning personnel matters specially on compensation and benefits;

6. Conducts research studies/data gathering and prepares write-ups and reports;

7. Assist in preparing the annual PS Forward Estimates and other PS related concerns documents;

8. Provides technical assistance on compensation and benefits concerns;

9. Provides secretariat services;

10. Acts as OIC of the Section whenever the current Section Head/OIC is unable to perform the function; and

11. Performs other tasks and functions as may be specified by the Division Chief and the immediate supervisor.

8.Scanned copy of certificate of relevant trainings and seminars attended (If applicable);

9.Scanned copy of NBI Clearance or proof of payment i.e. official receipt of the NBI clearance; and 

10.Scanned copy of Individual Performance Contract Rating (IPCR) in the last rating period or its equivalent for external applicants (Performance Evaluation/Appraisal) from the last/current employer.
