Job Description

 (1)   COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER III - 1 slot

Job Functions:


1. Coordination with NPMO counterpart and submission of pertinent reports on Environmental Safeguards, Gender and Development, IP, SE, KPI;

2. Provision of Technical Assistance to the Area Coordinating Teams (ACT) relative to the tasks assigned and ensure the social aspect of the program is being emphasized;

3. Conduct periodic progress review on assigned tasks vis-à-vis cluster/municipal implementation of the program and assess compliance to standards, determine existing, and potential risks and propose mitigation measures and strategies;

4. Undertake due diligence in the review of thematic processes included in coordination with the other RPMO sectors prior approval of documents;

5. Assistance to the technical staff in the provision of Technical Assistance related to social processes in the program implementation as need arises;

6. Provide updates to the RPMO during meetings about the status of their implementation covering these thematic areas through monitoring plans, process reports and documentation gathered during field visits, process audits and spot checks;

7. Ensure that the standards, policies, manuals and technical guidelines on Community-Driven Development (CDD) are strictly adhered to;

8. Translates policies and standards in a manner that is understandable to project implementers and stakeholders;

9. Provides policy recommendations to the CD Sector on strategies to better implement activities and achieve objectives and targets;

10. Serve as a facilitator or/and resource person for related program activities;

11. Prepares reports, and consolidates AC monitoring reports for submission to the SRPMO and RPMO, following prescribed formats and procedures;

12. Facilitates generation and sharing of good practices in program implementation;

13. Report to the office beyond approved work arrangements that may be instructed by the supervisors and deemed necessary in the exercise of duties and responsibilities
