PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education          :  Bachelor’s Degree in Customs Administration, Political Science

                             Legal Management or any other related courses relevant to the job

Experience        :  At least two (2) years of relevant experience including one (1) year

                             of management related to warehourse, logistics, customs

                             clearance facilitation/processing/monitoring, legal and financial

                             management and quality control standard setting. 

Training             :  Eight (8) hours of relevant training including four (4) hours of

                             supervisory training

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, performs supervisory, technical, administrative and support functions of Resource Management Division (RMD) and does other related works.

1.    Acts as a Technical Staff of Donation Facilitation Section (DFS)

2.    Provides technical support and monitors the transactions and activities of DFS

3.    Assists in the preparation and facilitation of documents relative to processing and releasing of DSWD consigned shipment of Foreign Donation

4.    Coordinates with other Government Agencies such as BOC, PPA, BPI etc. and Private Companies such as Shipping Lines, Airlines and Port/Cargo Terminals to expedite the processing and releasing of DSWD consigned shipment.

5.    Prepares memoranda/proposals/TORs and other correspondence of DFS

6.    Prepares necessary documents for the annual procurement of Brokerage and Cargo Hauling Service Provider

7.    Attends activities and conferences relative to the procurement of Brokerage and Cargo Hauling Service Provider

8.    Assists in the monitoring of funds utilization for the contracted Service Provider

9.    Represents DSWD on Inter-Agency meetings on rules, regulation and guidelines establishment pertaining to Donation Management as may be assigned

10.  Assists in the facilitation of receipt and acceptance of both Local and Foreign Donations

11.  Assists in the preparation of reports in facilitated Foreign and Local Donation on a monthly/quarterly basis or as may be assigned;

12.  Assists in the provision of technical and consultative services to DSWD Field Offices, SWADAs and stakeholders/partners related to warehousing and logistics management/production of FFPs/ internal control policies and standards implementation/donation facilitation process and volunteers’ assistance procedures

13.  Reviews/recommends the development and enhancement of policies/guidelines/systems procedures of NRLMB

14.  Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time
