SOCIAL WELFARE OFFICER III

Salary Grade     : 18 (Php 45,203.00)

Location            : Policy and Research Development

Reports to         : Social Welfare Officer V

CSC PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education          : Bachelor’s degree in Social Work

Training             : 8 hours of relevant training

Experience        : 2 years of relevant experience

Eligibility            : RA 1080 (Social Worker)

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

Training             : 24 hours of training on any of the following: program management, policy development, research, child rights, relevant laws

Experience        : 4 years of experience in project development, research, social work practice, legislative work

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Social Welfare Officer Ill shall perform technical functions related to planning, review enhancement and development of policy, program design and research activities of JJWC.

PRIMARY TASKS

1.     Draft DWG policies and propose program designs as technical support to the council In the implementation of RA9344 as amended

2.     Propose and assist in the implementation of research activities of the council

3.     Provide technical assistance to the RJJJWC secretariat on areas of policy formulation, research development, program development and planning

4.     Prepare division/agency reports for submission to the Chief of Division and to the Council and other partner agencies 

5.     Act on tasks and functions as specified by Supervisor, Division Chief, Deputy Executive Director and Executive Director

JOB OUTPUTS

1.     Policy, program and project conceptualization, implementation, monitoring and evaluation for the effective implementation of RA 9344 as amended;

2.     JJWC policy, program and project reports;

3.     Technical assistance to RJJWCs;

4.     Procurement and administrative-related papers;

5.     Periodic and year-end reports

6.     Other tasks and functions as may be assigned by Division Chief, Deputy Executive Director and Executive Director.

7.     Specific policies and programs of DSWD, CWC, NYC
