CSC PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education : Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience
Training : Eight (8) hours of relevant training

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education : Bachelor’s degree in any the following fields: computer science,
computer engineering, information technology, and other
equivalent/ related fields.
Experience : Experience in projects where the applicant performed any of the
following functions:
· Web Application Development and Programming
· Systems Analysis, Design and Development
· Database Administration
· Project Management
· Capacity Building and Facilitation
Training : Very strong skills in SQL (from simple SELECT queries to complex
JOINS composed of multiple tables) and data retrieval/ generation.
Proficient with any database management system (preferably
MySQL). Advanced knowledge in programming. Proficient in oral
and written communication in English and Filipino.

Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall management and maintenance of the Family Development Management Information System.
Statement of Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the conduct of business process and requirement analysis;
2. Assist in the conduct of system analysis and develop system design on FDS;
3. Design, write, test, debug, or troubleshoot and maintain the source code and database of FDS Management Information System;
4. Conduct systematic monitoring of software engineering processes, tools and methods used to ensure quality of applications developed;
5. Provide capacity building and/or technical assistance to Field Offices such as but not limited to FDSMIS maintenance, monitoring, change management and sustainability plans;
6. Process requests for change management and sustainability plans;
7. Coordinate with other ICT teams/groups on project management requirements and the performance of assigned tasks;
8. Prepare work plan and submit documentation of tasks performed/service rendered including relevant reportorial requirements;
9. Lead in the evaluation of future prototype systems related to FDS and coordination with relevant OBSUs;
10. Monitor operationalization of the system and provide recommendations for policy development;
11. Extract data on the FDSMIS and provide significant analysis; and
12. Perform other related tasks relative to the FDSMIS as needs arise
