Education          :  Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCY BASED)

Education          : Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Social Sciences

·  Preferably with earned units in post graduate studies social work or social sciences;

·  Excellent written and oral communications skills;

·  Proficient in MS Office productivity tool and google workspace apps

Experience        : One (1) year of experience as an NHTO/NHTS Staff

·  Preferably with at least two (2) years progressive professional experience as supervisor in the field of community based research or study;

·  At least one (1) year experience in community organization, community development, project management/implementation, and/or training

·  At least 2 years experience in the field of planning, monitoring and evaluation regional perspective

Training             : Sixteen (16) hours of training preferably about any of the following:

·  Trainings related to Social work, Community Organizing and Community Development

·  Trainings related to Monitoring and Evaluation i.e. M&E Tools and automated application

·  Training on strategic planning and program review and evaluation

JOB DESCRIPTION

Being the Project Development Officer IV, the staff is expected to assess the needs of the assigned regions in order to deliver the outputs required. To this end, staff is expected to set meetings whether face-to-face or virtual dialogue with the assigned regional NHTS and submit a report to the Section Head of the Planning and Monitoring Section. Apart from the said core function, the staff is also expected to take special assigned tasks which includes but not limited to formulate M&E strategies which could help measure outputs and outcome, consolidate and interpret national/regional data.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.  Prepares manuals, guidelines, and other documents of similar nature relative to the management and operations of the Project;

2.     Provides direct support to the NHTO staff of Field Offices to ensure achievement of its annual targets and objectives;

3.     Conducts regular field visits for technical assistance and spot checks;

4.   Reviews and provides recommendations to all RPMO reports, prepares and submits regular feedback reports; and

5.     Performs other tasks and functions as may be specified by the Section Head.

Job Outputs:

1.     Monitoring and Technical Assistance Report

2.     Communication to the assigned Field Office such as memo or email

3.     Review of NHTS Semestral and Quarterly Reports

4.     Monthly Accomplishment Report

5.     Prepares or shares inputs to manuals, guidelines, and other documents related to the project

6.     Serve as facilitator or resource person to training or meetings
