We wish to inform you that the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council (JJWC) has one (1) vacant Permanent position with details as follows:

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER II

Salary Grade     : 11 (Php 23,877.00)

Reports to         : Chief Administrative Officer

CSC PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education          : Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job

Training             : None Required

Experience        : None Required

Eligibility            : Career Service Professional-2nd level eligibility

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

Education          : Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Commerce/Business Administration major in Accounting

Training             : 8 hours training in Cash Management and Control

Experience        : 6 months cashiering functions (such as but not limited to collections/deposits, checks/ADA preparation, coordination with servicing bank)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Administrative Officer II shall perform cashiering functions. He/ she is expected to supervise receipts custody and all funds disbursed; receive collection; issue receipts from all sources; deposit collections within prescribed timeline and record all collections in the cash registry.

PRIMARY TASKS

1.     Supervises receipts custody and all fund disbursement;

2.     Prepares checks and LDDAP-ADA and ACIC pertaining to payments and other related transactions;

3.     Maintains and updates report of check issued and LDDAP-ADA issued as basis of monitoring of checks issued;

4.     Receives collection and issues receipt from all sources for documentation of Cash Unit;

5.     Prepares on call deposit slip and deposits collections to the depository bank as required by
accounting and auditing rules and regulations;

6.     Submits ACIC and LDDAP-ADA to Landbank of the Philippines;

7.     Monitors/requests Bank Statements from LBP and forwards to Accounting Unit;

8.     Facilitates fidelity bond application;

9.     Prepares Cash Utilization Report monthly and quarterly;

10.  Handles petty cash fund and facilitate replenishment;

11.  Records all collections in the cash registry book;

12.  Prepares monthly report and running balances for all funds;

13.  Accounts for all checks;

14.  Prepares letters, memos related to Cash unit; and

15.  Perform other tasks as may be assigned by immediate supervisor, Division Chief, Deputy Executive Director and Executive Director.
