SOCIAL WELFARE OFFICER III   Employment Status : Permanent   Item Number : (A) OSEC-DSWDB-SOCWO3-344-2004 (B) OSEC-DSWDB-SOCWO3-345-2004 (C) OSEC-DSWDB-SOCWO3-347-2004   Salary Grade : 18 (Php 43,681.00)   Area of Assignment : (A) Disaster Response Management Division (B) Center and Residential Care Facility (C) Community-Based Services Section   MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work Eligibility : RA 1080 (Social Worker) Training : 8 hours of relevant training Experience : 2 years of relevant experience             PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS: Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work Eligibility : RA 1080 (Social Worker) Training : 8 hours of relevant training Experience : 2 years of relevant experience   BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE GENERAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: (A)  Under general supervision, he/she is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring of disaster response efforts including the provision of augmentation support to LGUs during disasters and/or calamities in the form of relief, rehabilitation, and recovery services, in accordance with RA 10121 (National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010); performs supervisory functions, and does other-related work. (B)  Under general supervision, he/she is responsible for monitoring and providing technical assistance that is relevant to social welfare operations and other center-based interventions; performs supervisory functions; and does other-related work.
