Job Description

NUTRITIONIST DIETITIAN III

Employment Status: Permanent

Item Number: OSEC-DSWDB-ND3-83-2004

Salary Grade: 18 (Php 43,681.00)

Assignment: Supplementary Feeding Program


Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree major in Nutrition, Dietetics or Community Nutrition

Training: At least eight(8) hours of relevant training

Experience: At least two (2) years of relevant experience as Nutritionist Dietitian

Eligibility: RA 1080 (Registered Nutritionist Dietitian)

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Prepares and provides SF guidelines;
  2. Formulates nutrition modules;
  3. Prepares food plan to direct service implementation;
  4. Oversees records/practices and demonstrate strategies in the management of clients/wards food and nutritional needs in centers/institutions and evacuation centers;
  5. Reviews and evaluates SF and centers’ project proposals and reports;
  6. Reviews menu, RIVs, stock reports of LGUs, centers and institution;
  7. Monitors allocation, utilization of foreign donated food commodities;
  8. Coordinates with technical staff who are responsible for the social aspects of DCS/centers/institution and other NGOs related to the implementation of nutrition program;
  9. Represent the Director meetings and other organizations pertaining to nutrition;
  10. Conducts in-house program audit to identify problems, objectives and standards based on implementing the guidelines;
  11. Prepares required reports on nutrition;
  12. Act as member of food inspection committee.
