PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education        : Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Experience       : Two (2) years of relevant experience as a BAC Secretariat Staff
Training            : Eight (8) hours of relevant training on Republic Act No. 9184 (RA 9184)
Eligibility           : Career Service Professional/ Second Level Eligibility
JOB DESCRIPTION
The staff shall perform the functions of a Procurement Officer/BAC Secretariat Staff and will be under the general supervision of the BAC-Secretariat Chief/ Officer-In-Charge and will do other related tasks that may be assigned.
PRIMARY TASKS
1.    Accurately prepare the Abstract of Quotation (AOQ) and Resolutions, among others, by checking and reviewing each and every quotation or proposed;
2.    Undertake the verification with any supplier, service provider, or consultant if there are details in the quotation of the latter which need to be clarified;
3.    Update Procurement Monitoring Report (PMR);
4.   Assist in the preparation and submission of the Agency Procurement Compliance and Performance Indicator (APCPI) of the DSWD;
5.    Coordinate and prepare the related documents for posting of the Invitation to Bid/ Request for Expression of Interest in the newspaper publication of projects/procurement requiring such;
6.    Provide technical and administrative support to the BAC during regular/special activities and meetings;
7.   Prepare office communications, correspondences, and reports as maybe required by the management, oversight agencies, stakeholders, among others;
8.  Conduct regular research related to current developments on procurement and procurement issues at hand; and
9.    Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the PMS Director, the BAC, and/or the BAC Secretariat Head.
