Education          :     Bachelor’s degree in relevant to the job

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education          :     Bachelor’s degree in Social Work

Experience        :     Two (2) years of relevant experience

Training             :     Twenty four (24) hours of relevant training

Eligibility            :     RA 1080 (Social Work)

Job Specific Requirements

1.     Knowledgeable in program/project development and management;

2.     Proven ability in analytical and creative thinking;

3.     Good communication skills (oral and written); and

4.    Willing to work long hours, to go on field work and handle multi-tasks type of work

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Provides technical assistance to Field Offices (FOs), organizations and other stakeholders along regulatory services;

2.   Enforces set procedures and processes based on the approved guidelines on DSWD’s regulatory services;

3.     Performs secretariat work for the Central Office Review Committee (CORC) in handling/managing complaints against erring SWDAs;

4.    Manages and monitors the complaints received against erring SWDAs;

5.   Conducts surveillance/monitoring and provides recommendations on the operations of unregistered and unlicensed organizations/SWDAs, and unauthorized public solicitation/fund drives;

6.    Establishes network with appropriate government agencies and private organizations on the enforcement and advocacy of regulatory services;

7.     Prepares and submits project proposals. Terms of reference, relevant reports, and other forms of correspondence along regulatory services;

8.    Assists in the production and dissemination of information education campaign (IEC) materials such as press releases, feature stories, fact sheets, and the like for dissemination to the media and the various publics to promote and/or strengthen advocacy of DSWD’s regulatory services;

9.    Assists in the monitoring and implementation of communication plan along regulatory services;

10.  Maintains database related to enforcement and advocacy of regulatory services;

11.  Acts as resource person/facilitator; and

12.  Performs other related tasks as may be assigned.
