Job Specific Requirements
1.  Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Communication Arts, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, and other courses related to the job
2.    Proficient in graphic design, publishing software, and MS Applications
3.    Knowledgeable in program/project development and management;
4.    Proven ability in analytical and creative thinking;
5.    Good communication skills (oral and written); and
6.    Willing to work long hours, to go on field work and handle multi-tasks type of work
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.  Establishes network with appropriate government agencies, private organizations, and other stakeholders on the enforcement and advocacy of regulatory services;
2.   Develops Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials on the DSWD regulatory services for dissemination to the public through various platforms;
3.  Conducts advocacy activities on the enforcement and advocacy of regulatory services to internal and external stakeholders;
4.  Monitors and implements the communication plan along regulatory services;
5.    Maintains/updates the advocacy corner of the Standards Bureau;
6.   Provides technical assistance to Field Offices (FOs), organizations and other stakeholders along regulatory services;
7.    Conducts surveillance/monitoring and provides recommendations on the operations of unregistered and unlicensed organizations/SWDAs, and unauthorized public solicitation/fund drives;
8.    Assists in the enforcement of set procedures and processed based on the approved guidelines on DSWD’s regulatory services;
9.    Prepares and submits project proposals, terms of reference, relevant reports, and other forms of correspondence along regulatory services;
10. Assists in documenting special events of the Bureau;
11. Maintains/updates database related to enforcement and advocacy of regulatory services;
12. Acts as resource person/facilitator; and
13. Performs other related tasks as may be assigned.
