PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education        : Bachelor's degree in Social Work or any relevant Bachelor’s degree with law background
Experience       : Two (2) years of relevant experience along program development, formulation of policies, guidelines and tools, preparation of technical reports and data analysis
Training            : Eight (8) hours of relevant training
Eligibility           : RA 1080 (Social Work) or Career Service (Professional)/ 2ndLevel Eligibility
Additional Competency
1.    Proficient in MS Office Application (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
2.    Has a good oral and written communication skills
3.    Must have good interpersonal skills and willing to travel
JOB SUMMARY
Under immediate supervision, performs technical functions in the Standards Development Division (SDD) and do other related functions.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.    Develop policies, guidelines, standards and tools/instruments as well as IEC materials along regulation and enforcement of social welfare and development agencies (SWDAs) and service providers;
2.   Design and recommend strategies relative to registration, licensing and accreditation of SWDAs and service providers;
3.  Review and analyze reports and other information/data as basis for development of social welfare and development (SWD) standards and strategies;
4.   Develop and pilot-test strategies relative to standards development and enrichment for quality service delivery of SWD programs and service;
5.  Provide technical assistance to FOs and intermediaries relative to DSWD regulatory guidelines and services of the Bureau;
6.    Act as resource person on topics along regulatory services;
7.  Document good practices and/or strategies in promoting standards development and compliance;
8.  Prepare/consolidate and analyze qualitative and quantitative data relative to SWD standards, issues and policies;
9.    Submit relevant reports; and
10. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Division Chief or Bureau Director.
JOB OUTPUTS
Policies, guidelines, standards and tools, instrument as well as IEC materials along regulation and enforcement of compliance to standards of SWDAs and Service Providers.
