Experience

:

At least six (6) months of relevant experience involving provision of health care services in a hospital or industrial setting

Training

:

Training in Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH), Basic Life Support (BLS) and Standard First Aid (SFA)

Eligibility

:

RA 1080 (Professional License in Nursing), Certified First Aider by competent authorities (e.g. Philippine Red Cross)

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Under immediate supervision of the Medical Officer III, performs nursing care functions and other related administrative tasks in the provision of health services to employees of the Department.

PRIMARY TASKS

·       Performs daily clinical tasks such as but not limited to:

1.    Assesses the patient’s needs to determine level of care, triage, and develop treatment plan, documents patients’ medical history, health status, care/treatments and maintains vital data;

2.     Assistance to Medical Officer III in conducting various medical services in the institution such as providing first aid treatment, and administer medicines and  vaccines in compliance with drug dispensing policies and protocols;

3.     Orders, receives, secures and monitors and accounts for medicines, vaccines and other supplies;

4.     Maintains/updates stock cards of medicines/supplies;

5.     Safekeeping and updating of medical records and reports or nursing services and treatment done;

6.     Supervise nursing staff in patient care, planning and preparing budgetary decisions and manages the clinic in the absence of the Medical Officer III;

7.    Conducts home/hospital visits to employees as requested in the absence of the Medical Officer III;

8.     Assists in transporting of employees in times of emergency cases to hospital when needed.

·       Performs other related tasks in the unit, and/or division, as may be assigned

1.      Assists in referring of employees to the RESU-BHERT regarding COVID-19 cases.

·       The cut-off score is forty-one (41) points or seventy-five percent (75%) of the total score for the Education, Training and Experience (ETE) and Initial Qualifying Test (IQT) to proceed with the written examination and interview process.
