JOB SUMMARY

The role of the Social Welfare Officer III is to oversee and supervise the overall implementation of social services of BangUn Project. It includes but not limited to: develop the plan of action for social services component of the Project and ensure its implementation, collate periodic reports related to social services for BangUn’s utilization.

Functions and Responsibilities

1.     Act as the point of contact of all Social Workers of the Project;

2.     Provide technical guidance and training to all SWO II and lower staff of the Project;

3.     Initiate the biopsychological interventions during emergency situations;

4.     Supervise the parents and community organizing and capacity building components of the Project;

5.     Conduct meetings and consultations among partners and stakeholders in relation to social services and similar concerns;

6.     Perform other tasks and functions requested by the PMT and overall Supervisor.

JOB OUTPUTS

1.     Progress reports related to the implementation of social services;

2.     Case studies;

3.     Compilation of modules;

4.     Referrals
