Job Description

 

ADMINISTRATIVE AIDE IV (MAINTENANCE)

Salary Grade :  4

Status of Employment :  Contract of Service

Location/Office :  General Services Section

Program/Division/Unit :  General Services Section

 

A.      CSC/Minimum – Prescribed QS

Education            : Completion of two-year studies in college or High School Graduate with relevant vocational/trade course

Training                : None required

Experience         : None required

Eligibility               : None required

 

B.      Preferred Qualifications (Competency-based)

Education            : Completion of two-year studies in college or High School Graduate with relevant vocational/trade course in Plumbing/Carpentry/Electrical Installation and Maintenance

Training               : None required

Experience         : At least one (1) year relevant experience in plumbing, electrical and civil works

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 

1.       Performs minor repairs of all buildings, facilities and equipment;

 

2.       Performs preventive maintenance procedures on buildings and equipment on a scheduled basis;

 

3.       Completes periodic checklists on building and equipment maintenance;

 

4.       Installs electrical wiring during remodelling projects and replaces/repairs wiring as needed under the supervision of a licensed professional;

 

5.       Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required;

 

6.       Assists with the renovation/remodelling of buildings, repairs plaster and drywall, paints building structures;

 

 

7.       Supervises Job Order personnel hired for maintenance activities;

8. Performs other related tasks.
