Job Summary:

Subject to executive determination of policy, advises the Secretary in the promulgation of executive orders, regulations, and decrees relative to matters under the jurisdiction of the Department; exercises supervision and control over all bureaus and offices under the Department; and does related work.

Job Description:

1.��� Advise and assist the Secretary in the formulation, promotion and implementation of the Department�s policies, plans, programs and projects;

2.�� Coordinate the programs and projects of the Department and be responsible for its economical, efficient and effective administration;

3.�� Oversee operational activities of the Department for which he/she shall be responsible to the Secretary;

4.�� Exercises supervision and control over all services/division, bureaus and offices under its cluster in the execution of their functions;

5.�� Represent the Secretary in interagency engagements as needed or requested by the Secretary;

6.�� Acts as alternate of the Secretary in committees, internal or external to the Department, when assigned or requested by the Secretary;

7.�� Undertake review and evaluation of OBS/Cluster WFP and MDP;

8. ��Expected to adhere to all Gov�t rules and regulations;

9.�� Perform such other functions as may be provided by law; and

10. Performs such related duties as may be delegated by the Department Secretary.
