Job Description

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER IV (FINANCIAL ANALYST II)

 

Salary Grade                       :           15 (Php 32, 053.00)

Status of Employment        :           Contract of Service

Division/Office                     :           FMD/Accounting Section

Program                               :           Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program

 

Minimum Qualification:

Education                   Bachelor of Science in Commerce – Accounting or business-related courses

Training             :           4 hours of relevant training

Experience        :           1 year -experience in project accounting

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Processes all financial transactions of the project at the regional level

·         Maintains books of accounts, general and subsidiary ledgers, records and files of financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles

·         Reviews documents supporting financial transactions undertaken to ensure legality, propriety, accuracy and completeness

·         Records all project transactions/expenditures and processes/facilities liquidations of advances in accordance with accounting and auditing rules and regulations

·         Prepares/submits monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and monitoring to DSWD, Central Office (CO) and other oversight agencies

·         Coordinates with Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) servicing banks to ensure timely submission of Liquidation Report

·         Requires the LBP servicing banks the submission of Liquidation Report for review and verification

·         Verifies the Liquidation Report/debit memos submitted by LBP branch

o    Checks the validity of Order of payments (Ops) if duly approved by DSWD Field Director and validated by DSWD Municipal/City Link

o    Checks the validity of the acknowledgment receipt if duly signed by the DSWD Regional Focal Person, received by the beneficiary and stamped “Paid” by the LBP designated teller

o    Validates the “list of beneficiaries” paid during the day with the Ops issued and paid by LBP servicing bank

o    Tallies the total amount disbursed vis a vis with the Debit Advices issued and paid by LBP servicing bank

o    Prepares the summary of amounts disbursed/debited per debit advice issued per LBP servicing bank

·         Prepares and submits liquidation report of OTC payment to DSWD, Central Office - FMS

·         Performs other tasks as may be assigned
