CSC PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education : Bachelor\\\'s degree in Social Work
Experience : Three (3) years of relevant experience
Training : Sixteen (16) hours of relevant training
Eligibility : RA 1080 (Social Worker)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education : Master’s in Social Work or any related Social Sciences courses
Experience : Five (5) years of relevant experience in social welfare and development as direct service social worker and three (3) years in secondary setting like execution of social welfare and protection plans, programs, activities including delivery of social welfare services and psychosocial activities.
Has at least one (1) year supervisory experience. Proficient in technical writing i.e. project documents, proposals and reports.
Knowledge and skills in Information Communication and Technology applications and operations
Training : One Hundred (100) hours of relevant training in the last five years on protection/program management, monitoring, evaluation, case management, gender and development, financial management, migration, technical writing, coordination/advocacy/networking.
Eligibility : RA 1080 (Social Worker)
Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Attend and provide airport assistance to repatriated distressed overseas Filipinos and their families;
2. Prepare feedback reports and accomplishment reports to be submitted to the Secretary/ Undersecretary on the assistance provided to distressed overseas Filipinos and their families;
3. Monitor and in-charge of attending to the concerns of Social Welfare Attaches;
4. Review , coordinate, analyze and provide technical inputs and recommendations on the reports submitted by the SWAtts;
5. Respond/attend to special concerns/queries/requests of SWAtts;
6. Assist in the conduct of on-site program audit in different SWAtts abroad;
7. When necessary, coordinate with partner agencies to facilitate resolution of SWAtt related concerns;
8. Assists in the organization and conduct of in-house PDOS and continuous capability building of the SWAtts;
9. Assists in the superior in providing technical assistance to all staff to ensure effective and efficient discharge of their functions through coaching and demonstrations;
10. Assist the superior in reviewing, coordinating, analyzing and providing technical inputs and recommendations on the communications, documents and reports prepared/submitted by the ISSO staff;
11. Prepare project proposal and other technical/accomplishment reports, as may be directed by the director;
12. Serve as ISSO focal person in the selection and deployment of SWAtts in coordination with HRMDS and DFA;
13. Act as resource person during inter-agency activities, like meetings, forums, consultations, seminars, training, etc.;
14. Coordinate/attend to concerns/requirements of special assignments; and
15. Performs other related tasks as may be assigned.
