Education: Bachelor\\\\\\\'s degree relevant to the job

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education: Communication-Related Courses (e.g., Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Communication, Bachelor of Science in Development Communication, Bachelor of Arts/Science in Mass Communication and Bachelor of Arts/Science in Journalism)

Experience: Two (2) years of of Experience in visual graphics/graphic design (including data visualization and data storytelling)

Training: Eight (8) hours of relevant training

Eligibility: Career Service Professional/ 2nd Level Eligibility          

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision, performs functions involving planning/design, production and evaluation of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials; assists in the promotion of strategic initiatives and other undertakings; and does social marketing related work.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.   Plans, designs/prepares and edits briefers, brochures, posters and other IEC materials;

2.   Plans and designs/prepares infographics for statistical bulletins, performance or accomplishment reports, assessment/evaluation reports and such other reportorial requirements;

3.   Designs/prepares visual presentations for interoffice and interagency activities;

4.   Designs visual graphics for data dashboards and knowledge management portals;

5.   Plans and designs branding package for trainings, workshops, conferences and other activities (i.e., banners, backdrops, visual presentation templates, customized notebooks and other necessary materials;

6.   Provides technical assistance to other staff on visual graphics/graphic design; and,

7.   Acts as focal staff for social marketing/advocacy activities.

JOB OUTPUTS

1.     Effective IEC materials;

2.     Effective visual graphics; and,

3.     Effective visual presentations.
