Position : Administrative Officer III (Cashier II)

Salary : P27, 755 (SG 14)

Education : Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job

Experience : One year (1) relevant experience

Training : Four (4) hours relevant training

Eligibility : Career Service (Professional) Eligibility



Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Supervises accounts for receipts, custody  and disbursements of funds for salaries, wages and claims; 

  2. Verifies the position of  cash advances, disbursements collection on collection on deposits; 

  3. Prepares correspondence and other pertinent papers for the signature of the immediate supervisor; 

  4. Supervises a group of employees engaged in cashiering duties; 

  5. Issues and signs checks in the payment of obligations; 

  6. Reviews and keeps payrolls, vouchers and checks paid; signs monthly collections on disbursements reports; 

  7. Maintains/updates running balances of monthly cash disbursements ceiling; 

  8. Submits required reports; 

  9. Coordinates/links with other technical staff of the region and other agencies on matters relating to cash management; 

  10. Submits required reports and signs application for loan with GSIS, Pag-ibig and LBP (FOs); and

  11. Performs other related tasks as assigned.
