NOTICE OF VACANCY

Position                                 :  SOCIAL WELFARE OFFICER II   

Salary/SG                               :  ₱31,752.00 (SG 15)

Status                                    :  Contract of Service

Place of Assignment            :  Crisis Intervention Unit / Protective Services Division

 


CSC Prescribed Qualification Standards

 

Education                  :           Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work

Experience                 :           None Required

Training                     :           None Required

Eligibility                    :           RA 1080 (Registered Social Work)

 


Preferred Qualification (Competency-Based)

 

Education                  :           Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work

Experience                 :           1 year relevant experience

Training                     :           4 hours relevant training

Eligibility                    :           RA 1080 (Registered Social Work)

 

 


Primary task:

 

1.    Conducts interviews, home visit, jail visits, case counseling case management conferences;  

2.    Gathers collateral information;

3.    Handles court-related cases;

4.    Accomplishes social case study reports of clients;  

5.    Attends hearing and testifies in court;

6.    Assesses and recommends qualified clients for sea loan or financial assistance;

7.    Coordinates network with NGAs, LGUs, NGOs, GOs, and private individuals on recruitment of trainees and sponsorship for training needs;

8.    Manages/refers WEDC cases;

9.    Network with the industrial sector (factory, shops, department stores, etc.) For possible absorption of graduates in the labor force;

10.  Monitors job placement of PSCB graduates;

11.  Supervises the total operation of the productivity center and submits periodic rapports on the status of the capability building project;

12.  Prepares/submits project proposals, case studies and other reports;

13.  Refers neglected, abandoned, abused and exploited children to institutions and for foster care.

14.  Perform other related task assigned by the Supervisor
