             Duties and Functions:

·         Assist the Deputy Regional Project Manager for Convergence (Assistant Regional Director) in the day to day convergence operations in the areas and ensure that the activities indicated in the approved Work and Financial Plan are implemented;

·         Coordinate and liase with other technical staff of the core social protection programs (PP, KC and SLP) at the region on various convergence strategy concerns;

·         Prepare the Regional Annual Work and Financial Plan for Convergence based on submission of the terms;

·         Prepare activity/project/budget proposals in accordance to the approved Regional Annual Work and Financial Plan

·         Monitor the following; administration of the Social Welfare Indicators (SWI) organization of Municipal Actions Teams, and accomplishment of the Municipal Action Plans;

·         Analyze the Provincial collated Plans and accomplishments Reports;

·         Recommend regional adaptation and/or adjustments in projects policies and guidelines as applicable based on data and actual field experience;

·         Provide technical assistance to the Convergence Teams and other members of the regional Project Management office on convergence concerns;

·         Submit quarterly and annual reports on project accomplishments using the prescribed format for reporting; and

·         Perform other ad hoc as may be assigned by the Regional Project Manager/ Deputy Regional Manager for Convergence.
