Place of Assignment: Human Resource Planning and Performance Management Division

Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education: Graduate of Bachelor’s degree preferably in Psychology, Human Resource Management and other Social Sciences

Experience: With at least one (1) year of professional and progressive work experience in Human Resource specifically on workforce planning

Training: Four (4) hours of training on Human Resource Management and development areas particularly on Workforce Planning

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under general supervision and with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgment, The Administrative Officer II shall perform professional and technical work in the conduct of activities and implementation of HRMDS activities pertaining to workforce planning.

PRIMARY TASKS

1.      Assist in the conduct of activities in support of the implementation of Workforce Planning (WP) of the Department;

2.      Provide technical support to the Field Offices/Bureaus/Services/Units on WP concerns;

3.      Assist in the preparation of WP related guidelines and policy papers;

4.      Prepare reports, correspondences, memoranda;

5.      Does research, data mining to gather information and data needed by HRMDS;

6.      Updates and maintains databases;

7.      Generates reports needed by the management in relation to WP;

8.      Draft HRMDS-related guidelines and policy papers;

9.      Coordinates with different OBSUs and Field Offices relative to various HRMDS;

10.    Does research, data mining to gather information and data needed by the Office; and

11.    Performs other related tasks as assigned or required.

JOB OUTPUTS

1.   Memoranda/Communications;

2.   Reports;

3.   Minutes of the meeting/resolutions/proceedings;

4.   Project proposals, policy papers and concept notes;

5.   Proposal for Creation of position and other staffing modification.
