CSC PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education:Bachelor\\\\\\\'s degree in Social Work

Experience: Two (2) years of relevant experience

Training: Eight (8) hours of relevant training

Eligibility: RA 1080 (Social Worker)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education      : Bachelor\\\\\\\'s degree in Social Work

Experience    : Two (2) years of relevant experience in any combination of the following   areas:

-     Experience along Registration, Licensing and Accreditation of SWDAs

-     Experience to residential and community-based policies program implementation and networking 

Training         :  Eight (8) hours of relevant training along the following areas:

-     Case management, relevant laws, and policies on children, women, PWDs, Ops and families

-     Policy program development, research, technical writing skills, and data base system

JOB DESCRIPTION

Under direction, provides technical assistance and monitors Field Offices, Centers/Institutions, LGUs, NGOs and POs in the implementation of Social Welfare and Development Programs; recommends undertaking of action research projects, training programs, strategies/approaches for a more effective program implementation and/or assist the SWO V; does other related work.

Functions and Responsibilities

1.    Assess the application for registration and licensing of social welfare and development agencies in more than one region;

2.  Assess service providers and SWD agencies implementing SWD programs and services for accreditation;

3.  Assess applications for SEC endorsements, national fund drives, and duty-free entry of foreign donated goods;

4.  Submit repots on the result of assessment conducted;

5.  Assist in the conduct of fact-finding or investigation on cases of complaints/violations against SWD agencies;

6.  Acts on requests from Field Offices (FOs), OBSUs, various agencies, and organizations relative to registration, licensing and accreditation, and other regulatory concerns;

7.  Generate information for data banking along registration, licensing and accreditation of SWD agencies and service providers including national fund drives and duty-free entry of foreign donated goods; and

8.  Performs other related tasks as may be assigned.

Shortlisting of applicants will be based on the ETE and IQT result. The cut off rating will be based on the following:
