Education                    :           Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

Experience                   :           One (1) year of relevant experience

Preferred Qualification (Competency-Based)

 

Education                    :           Bachelor’s degree preferably in Development Communication, Mass Communication, Journalism, Communication Arts and other communication-related course.

 

Experience                   :           At least one (1) year experience on social marketing, development of communication plan and production of EIC materials, preferably in the implementation of socio-economic programs for normalization and DRR-PPAs under the context of peace and development.

 

Training                       :           At least ten (10) hours relevant training preferably on social marketing, development of communication plan and production of EIC materials, preferably in the implementation of socio-economic programs for normalization and disaster risk resiliency (DRR) program, projects and activities (PPAs) under the context of peace and development.

Job Description: 

Under the direction and with substantial latitude for the exercise of independent judgment, engaged in moderately responsible work pertaining to social marketing, development of communication plan and production of EIC materials in the implementation of socio-economic and DRR-PPAs for the Decommissioned Combatants (DCs) of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) as anchored under Executive Order No. 79, Series of 2019 (Annex on Normalization under the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro – CAB) 


Functions and Responsibilities: 

Part of the Regional Project Management Team (RPMT) tasked to spearhead in social marketing, development of communication plan and production of EIC materials in the implementation of the socio-economic programs of normalization and DRR-PPAs for the DCs of the MILF.

 

Specific Functions:

1.     Develops a communication plan for the project implementation;

2.     Prepares EIC materials;

3.     Formulates and disseminates reports in various mass media platforms;

4.     Attends to meetings, special events and training/workshop; and,

5.     Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Job Outputs:

1.     Communication plan;

2.     Mass media reports;

3.     EIC Materials;

4.     Feedback reports; and,

5.     Memoranda/letter, project proposal and other officer communications.
