HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT DIVISION NOTICE OF VACANCY

Position : One (1) Project Development Officer III (Database Management)
Salary : SG 18/ 40, 637.00
Status : Contract of Service / Memorandum of Agreement
Place of Assignment : DRR Normalization Program
Period of Engagement : October – December 2019
CSC Prescribed Qualification Standards
Education : Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Experience : Two (2) ears of relevant experience
Training : Eight (8) hours of relevant training
Eligibility : Career Service (Professional) / Second Level Eligibility
Preferred Qualification (Competency-Based)
Education : Bachelor’s degree preferably in Management, Entrepreneurship, Development Studies, Social Sciences or any business-related course.
Experience : At least two (2) years experience database management, and knowledge/information management system and analysis.
Training : At least eight (8) hours relevant training
Additional Competencies
1. With excellent leadership, supervision, management and decision making skills;
2. Competent ability to provide technical assistance and expert advice and to guide and direct personnel in their assigned tasks
3. Computer literate with knowledge on MS Office;
4. Good written and oral communication; and,
5. Able to work harmoniously, competently, and effectively even under pressure
Job Description:
Under the direction and with substantial latitude for the exercise of independent judgment engaged in moderately responsible work pertaining to the database management of the biometrics profile and the DSWD socio-economic programs for normalization of the Decommissioned Combatants (DCs) of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) as anchored under Executive Order No. 79, Series of 2019 (Annex on Normalization under the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro – CAB)
Functions and Responsibilities:
Part of the Regional Project Management Team (RPMT) tasked to assist in the management of the database of the biometrics profile and implementation of the management of the database of the biometrics profile and implementation of socio-economic programs for normalization and DRR-PPAs for the DCs of the MILF
Specific Functions:
1. Assists in the development of web system for database management of profiles and project accomplishments;
2. Updates the database system on developing requirements;
3. Assists in the development of operational and security protocols in the access/sharing and dissemination of the database;
4. Address systems errors for sustainability;
5. Attends to meetings, special events and training/workshop
6. Coordinate with other stakeholders for the harmonization of the system database; and,
7. Perform other related tasks as maybe assigned by the Supervisor
Job Outputs:
1. Policy/guidelines;
2. Database system;
3. Updates database profile and project status and,
4. Memoranda/letter, project proposal and other officer communications.
