CSC PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education : Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience

Training : Eight (8) hours of relevant training

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS 

Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Statistics, Community Development, Sociology of Social Work – or other related and allied courses with emphasis on social development issues, strategy management, planning, program management, project development, or a related field      

Experience : Three (3) years of relevant professional experience in any or in combination along the following areas: social development, strategy management, planning, monitoring and evaluation. Experience in areas of social, economic, environment and/or humanitarian spheres relative to program evaluation, coordination, or related fields

Training : Thirty-two (32) hours training along strategy management, planning, monitoring and evaluation, management, data analysis, and/or other related subjects

JOB DESCRIPTION 

Assists in formulating, cascading, implementing and monitoring organizational strategy/ies; and does other related work.

PRIMARY TASKS

1.     Facilitates conduct of strategy-related activities;

2.     Prepares documentation reports and minutes of meetings of strategy-related activities and meetings;

3.     Recommends enhancements  and amendments to the organizational and unit-level strategy/ies;

4.     Monitors and reports implementation of unit-level scorecards/scoreboards;

5.     Monitors and reports status of strategic initiatives;

6.     Monitors and reports early wins and good practices of delivery units;

7.     Provides technical assistance along strategy management;

8.     Coordinates with different OBSUs and Field Offices relative to various concerns of the Division;

9.     Coordinates with Multi-Sectoral Governance Coalition members, consultants and other bodies relative to various concerns of the Department; and

10.  Performs other related tasks as assigned or required.
