CSC PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education : Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Experience : Two (2) years of relevant experience
Training:Eight : (8) hours of relevant training
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education : Bachelor’s degree in any the following fields: computer science, computer engineering, information technology, and other equivalent/related fields
Experience : Experience in projects where the applicant performed any of the following functions:
· Software development
· System design and implementation
· Programming
Training : Sixteen (16) hours of training (cumulative) in any of the following areas: monitoring and evaluation, technical writing, dispute resolution, use of any information system applications, research, supervision or other related areas
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCY
Working knowledge of programming skills and analysis methods (preferably SQL, PHP, UML). Familiar with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Excellent in oral and written communication in English and Filipino. Ability to explain technical ideas clearly.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for capturing and documenting the requirements needed to meet the organizations business needs. Also serves as liaison between business and IT providers.
PRIMARY TASKS
1. Defines application problem by conferring with clients; evaluating procedures and processes;
2. Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions;
3. Identify and document all business, technical, product and process requirements;
4. Ensures that the context and implications of system changes are understood by the clients and the project team;
5. Able to understand how present and future business needs will impact the system;
6. Performs other tasks assigned by the National Program Director/Manager and/or Unit Head from time to time.
