Job Description

  We wish to inform you that the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Central Office has one (1) vacant Contract of Service position with details as follows:

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER V (Administrative & Procurement Specialist

CSC PRESCRIBED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education        :     Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

Experience      :     Two (2) years of relevant experience

Training           :     Eight (8) hours of relevant training 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education        :  Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
                          Preferably knowledgeable in public administration & procurement law

Experience      :  With at least two (2) years of relevant experience

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCY

1.     Can work with minimum supervision

2.     Writing knowledge is a plus

3.     A team player

4.     Willing to travel or deployed to other offices

5.     Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION

In charge of all logistics, supplies, properties and procurement activities of the office.

Functions and Responsibilities:

1.     Ensures availability of resources in the conduct of activities, manpower requirements and logistical support;

2.     Conducts coordination to OBSUs, FOs and partner during meetings and follow through on their commitments;

3.     Reviews and recommends operational support service improvements;

4.     Reviews and recommends for the Individual Performance Contract of each staff in the Division;

5.     Oversees the overall working condition of the office and staff; and

6.     Performs other related tasks as maybe assigned.
